The entrance to the Dakota in New York City, where John Lennon was shot. Mark Chapman stood on the driveway on the right, about where the yellow leaf is, and fired from behind at John Lennon who was farther inside. After being shot, Lennon staggered up some stairs to the right into a small room and collapsed.
