Valentown Museum, Victor New York
Read more about its history here. It was on Ghost Hunters!
I stopped here myself for a quick look a few weeks back. Fascinating to read more about it, and for anyone who is interested in the history of what we see around Rochester, I’d recommend her blog. where she looks at this region, as well as others.

Here’s a great chance to explore the work of an upstate New York photographer, Jamie M. Moore. Well worth a look.
Ventured out this year for the East End’s celebration of Halloween with my new friend Will Prouty. The weather was kind of junky so it was pretty slow going. I didn’t feel invisible as I normally would if it was busier or during the day downtown. Regardless, it felt good to get out and shoot some street photography, even if it was on East Ave.
Some shots by Jason Wilder that he took when he and I were out last week shooting in Rochester. The guy’s fearless, very inspiring to be around, and I love these shots. Especially the Wonder Woman, the girl with the pink ears in the car, and the woman with the little red pitchfork. Plus the drunk skeleton, and the sidelong glance from the Jester. And the other shots too, seriously not a bad or dull shot in the bunch. I look forward to shooting with him again!
